[Done! Thanks you everyone!]
Hello everyone!  :D (Big Grin)

I reappear temporarily to share two surveys about a project that may interest you... Alright, I confess: it is mostly a call for help.

These surveys are the last part of a market research for a business plan competition at my University. They have to be sent at most before Tuesday, February 24, 2016 at 14:00 UTC (arrangements can be made if you find it really too short). My market research should be done on February 25, and as there are very few answers, we really are in a tight spot. Oops!

To keep it short, the surveys are about a web gallery project where artists/authors could post and/or sell  images, texts and comics. In the long run, it may even become a full-time job, who knows? The project is currently part of a business plan contest at the University of Orléans in which I am participating. Having got only few answers for now, I am here to call all people of goodwill. ^^

One of the surveys is for professional and hobbyist artists and authors. The second is for patrons... which are basically everyone (questions are just more centered on sharing and purchasing). So artists and authors can answer both.

You can also find the very young Facebook page of the project >here< if you're curious about what happens next.

Don't hesitate to share these links to any person that may be interested or to ask me questions for details in the comments. The more answers we get, the better the quality of the results.

Thanks in advance. :) (Smile)

[Fini !

:) (Smile)

"...But don't tell the others. Yet."
-- My parents.

(Note: Journal written at 5AM, please be lenient about my writing style Sweating a little... )

Yup! My parents always made clear to me Santa doesn't exist (same about the Little Mouse (French Tooth Fairy) and the Easter Bunny).
And you know what? I enjoyed Christmas as much as other children. The famous "Christmas Spirit" was still there. I still have fond memories of my childhood during Christmas times. ^_^

So why all this social pressure to lie to children and then break their heart because adults they love betrayed their trust? How can this not be a way to sow the seeds of disrespect parents complain so much about nowadays? I'm no psychologist, but why am I being always countered by people, when I advocate lying repeatedly to children can't be without negative consequences?

You know what? If you're a parent or are going to be one someday, I suggest you to try one thing: tell them the same thing my own parents did.

And watch the results.

Celebrating Christmas, "Christmas Spirit" with children is about love, family, generosity and other good values. Are these values lost for them because they know the old man in red is a character in stories of various quality? :santa: Are they really going to be unhappy because they don't ask you to take a picture with "Santa" (and spend some dollars/euros that could be used for buying bigger/better gifts)? Would they stop loving you because they will know the gifts they enjoyed came from you instead of an old man? I think you already know the answers.

Children have enough imagination and don't need to be lied to, social pressure or not. Let's let them keep the meager innocence left despite crude news about the world and their parents' problems (supposing they live in a stable family). Let's let them learn you love them enough to give them presents, that you trust them enough to let them know the truth, preferably from the beginning.

Let's let just children be children and know whose the gifts really come from. Please show kindness and love ("Christmas Spirit" by letting them know the truth, and maybe apologizing if they had been lied to. You'll be surprised by their reactions, and most often then not, in a good way. Please. Huggle!

And Merry Christmas ! :D (Big Grin)

Hey everyone!
I've been thinking about writing another short journal to replace the less-than-joyous previous one.

So thank you for the Happy birthday wishes, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year already ! :D

Hey all,

Just letting you know I wasn't in Paris last night and my relatives living there are safe and unhurt. But the sister of a friend had a friend that has been shot dead at the Bataclan theater. :(

I'm still a bit saddened, shaken and horrified, although there was no surprise. It was alas only a question of time since money allocated to watch suspects have never been enough, even after attacks in last January. Zero risk is a goal impossible to reach, even by sacrificing freedoms with "reassuring" massive spying laws like the parliament/government have done this year. A lot of specialists about terrorism warned us.

I pray for families of victims and democracy.

Just so you know, I'm still very busy with life and may only post new pics and translated pages occasionally/erratically.

Take care, people.
