Light is over death

Lightning, thunder and torrential rain. The weather looks good in my depression.
Some hours earlier, I learned the death of the cat that I had left in France, Kirianne - I gave her that name when she was a stray kitten injured by a vehicle we just rescued.
A cat usually lives to age 15 or even 22/25 years old. She had only seven years old. Or eight, I do not know her exact birthday. "Heart attack, " the veterinarian said after the autopsy.

Morose, without the Internet to be comforted by friends, I did not even want to do my homework. I prayed a little; this very bad news was not the first of the year.
I then noticed that the weather cleared, as it continued to rain. Then I saw it. Above the cemetery, a double rainbow.
No matter the weather. Quickly, I caught my smartphone and threw myself on my balcony.

Twenty minutes later, when it disappeared, I had renewed hope.

Éclairs, tonnerre, et trombes d'eau. Le temps s'accorde parfaitement à mon état dépressif.

Quelque heures auparavant, j'apprenais la mort de la chatte que j'avais laissé en France, Kirianne - je lui avais donné ce nom quand nous l'avions recueilli, un chaton errant blessé par un véhicule. Un chat vit habituellement jusqu'à 15 ans, voire 22/25 ans. Elle n'en avait que sept ans. Ou huit, je ne sais plus. "Crise cardiaque", a dit le vétérinaire après l'autopsie.

Morose, sans Internet pour être réconforté par des amis, je n'avais même pas envie de faire mes devoirs. Je priais un peu ; cette mauvaise nouvelle n'était pas la première de l'année.
J'ai alors remarqué que le temps s'éclaircissait, alors qu'il continuait à pleuvoir. C'est alors que je l'ai vu. Au-dessus du cimetière, une double arc-en-ciel.
Peu importe le temps qu'il faisait. Ni une, ni deux, j'ai attrapé mon smartphone et me suis précipité sur mon balcon.

Vingt minutes plus tard, lorsqu'il disparut, j'avais repris espoir.
